Is there any where in north Cyprus you can but a real Xmas tree?????, not sure if there is much demand for them, but i could be wrong

the laws are strict on tree cutting here, you have to get permission so real xmas trees are not found easily )

Just go up one of the mountain roads during the week and cut yourself one
There's loads of Cyprus pines to choose from, just don't get caught (never knew it was illegal, someone should tell the locals)
Last year I asked a neighbour who has some rather overgrown trees and he let me cut down a rather large branch which was like a 2 metre tree

Try the Forestry Commission. They used to sell them - not sure if they still do - that way you would not,hopefully , be harming the environment and would not be illegal.
A few years ago two years running I bought small conifers (any nursery)and used them as Christmas Trees. then tranplanted to larger pots and decorated outside (wow no needles to clean off the carpet!). Then they had to be dug into the garden. They are now well overgrown and badly need pruning. If a lot of large branches would do you, you are welcome to come and help yourself
