Strange price discrepancy Turkish Airlines flights online
Tried booking return flights from Ercan to Aukland for the end of this year for 2 adults. On the Turkish Airlines online booking system the price quoted for specific options for the various legs outbound and return came to 24145 TL. Driving to the Turkish Airlines office in Lefkosa and booking exactly the same itinerary in person the price came to 10,010 TL ! Weird.

It's true - maybe it's because they can't see your weapon over the internet!

We travel 3 or 4 times a year to SE Asia, always with Turkish because their prices are always far better than Emirates, aside from the fact that we would rather travel from Ercan than Larnaca and prefer Turkish anyway for long haul. However, for the first time in many years we are travelling with Emirates in the Autumn, because the internet price for tickets with Turkish was 50 percent higher! We found this unbelievable.
If this is some new marketing strategy of Turkish Airlines, I cannot see it being much of a success. Thanks for the post, Erol, will try a trip to Lefkosa when we next book long haul.
