Might be worth trying some of the village blacksmiths (de merci). Even if they don't still use them they might have one lying around. Also market stalls: I havent been able to get there recently but the Girne Wednesday Market (Çarşamba Pazarı) used to have a stall which sold all kinds of fascinating old tools.
