Just out of a mixture of irrelevance, boredom and alcohol (at this late hour) - were Champion and Mr. Ed related in any way...?

Re: hot weather
Champion was much earlier if my memory serves me well. I don't remember much about the programme, just the song. I think it was around the same time as The Lone Ranger and Tonto, with another famous horse - Silver. Mr Ed's sidekick was the same guy who was in the film Androcles and the lion, Alan Young was it? Something like it anyway (I only use Google as a last resort).

Before my time I'm afraid but I remember Muffin the mule, which Bill Oddie once said you could get arrested for. One of my other earliest memories is some guy called Mr Pastry, I believe his real name was Richard Hearne. Can't see him doing well on BGT this day and age, though. Why is this off topic? Doesn't hot weather make you delirious?

Re: hot weather
This is not off topic at all - http://www.huffingtonpost.ca/alzlive/ho ... 16558.html - we are only trying to highlight the fact that none of us are suffering from altmentia or dezheimers because of the temperature rise, or is that fall?????

Back to topic. Our dog lilly arrived in the uk yesterday and is loving the rain and cool weather. She cant stop running on the grass and not burning her feet. With luck we will be with her soon after 13 years in Cyprus.

Seems a bit drastic, there are other solutions, you know! - For instance, you could try wearing shoes, then you wouldn't burn your feetarchie wrote:Back to topic.
