Car tax office opening hours - Metehan boarder crossing

Hi

Does anyone know which days and times the car tax office is open at the Metehan boarder crossing please? I know that it used to be closed on Saturdays. I saw an article recently about this but cannot remember where I saw it unfortunately.

For information the office at Metahan where you get the free letter (tax) to cross the border with a car is open 7.50 to 14.40 Monday to Friday if you are not there before 14.30 they can refuse to let you in so they can be finished by 14.40 !

And of course it is closed on the many days of public holiday - check on the internet before you go!
