Mel, if you have VPN set up on your computer, you could try that, or using a 'Proxy Server' might bypass Turk Telekom restrictions, if the VPN idea is a no-no. A suitable Proxy might be this one: - https://hide.me/en/proxy - just copy and paste the link in post 1 into the box on the proxy page.

RR - the link in post 1 takes you straight to the petition, not to facebook. I think that the OP meant that although she saw the link on facebook, she was simply posting the link direct to the petition ...

Tip! - Hold down the 'Ctrl' key while you click on the link - it will open the petition page in a new 'Tab' which you can close down when you've finished with that page by clicking on the 'x' on that particular tab (tabs look like the label things that you get on the top of files in filing cabinets - sorry if you already know that!).

An alternative is Tor browser; it's an alternative to Firefox, Chrome, IE and other browsers, and it hides your location, which enables you to visit sites that might be unavailable because of where you are. In the UK, many ISPs block your access to certain sites (eg torrent sites) when using the regular browsers, but Tor bypasses these blocks.

Signed . Thanks for the advice Keith. I do think however it silly insisting on a UK postcode. Many of here are UK citizens (paying UK Tax) as well as long term residents here. As such we are especially entitled to petition the UK government, and also have an informed view of the situation.

I agree with the petition to lift the embargo on Northern Cyprus and the attempts to gain British support but I have to ask how many Cypriots will come out to support the British people who's houses will be up for auction this Sunday this will be our third auction and have not had one Cypriot at any of the auctions.
