Phil,I only know it's now owned by the same guy who now owns Uncle Sam's on the Bellapais road, think he had Mannipennys (sp) ,it's a complete transformation from Chicken run, though strangely I think it's the same guy doing home delivery by by

Yes !!! They started doing pizzas yesterday ,a week earlier than planned apparently due to public demand. There is a very varied menu ,not just chicken and pizza ,very similar to Uncle Sam's

Had a pizza & burger in there last night & both 9/10 , very very good, I've been a fan of his pizza since Manipenny days but these where better if that was pos, I tried a bit of there "KFC" chicken while we was waiting & for me that missed the boat, the chicken it self was good but if it was meant to be the KFC taste it missed a long way for me & a 5/10& if I see the owner I'll mention it as constructive , if his not told he can't mend it plus he knows we've used him since day 1 at Manipennys & uncle sams. Having said that he had a load of chicken in the hot display cabinet as if waiting for evening rush hour so if his selling it well maybe my KFC taste buds are getting iffy, I can say my burger buds & pizza buds r not & it is official in my book the best pizza around, we went to Murphys a few weeks back as that did start getting the pizza right but Frankie's knocked that out the park .i think it was a Meatza Pizza I had , try one .

Tried their chicken a couple of times, but wasn't impressed. For great fried chicken I'd rather go to Popeyes or Chicken Planet. Haven't tried anything else there, maybe their pizza will be better. In the meantime, we get our pizzas from Pizza King - always good taste and deliver to a lot of places.

Best fried chicken by a mile is the chicken hut in Alsancak village, run by the guys that used to have the old chicken run, much better than the chicken run ever was - chicken is white and tasty and the coating is nice and crisp - even take away!
