I agree with the petition to lift the embargoes And I respect the UK expats who choose to to sign the petition to help the TRNC Cypriots I would ask the organisers of embargo to come out and support the people of greatstone Lapta who's houses are to be auctioned this Sunday 23rd July at the cumaci cafe Lapta village from 10 am till noon this will be our Third Auction and up untill know we have had no Cypriot support even though it has been reported in the Cyprus today for the last six weeks let us support each other thank you.
Regards Charles

Charles, regrettably, few Cypriots read the CT preferring Turkish language press. Ask the CT editor is she will pass on your plea to the sister newspaper and ask a Cypriot to get the information to Cypriot media. You might then get support from Cypriots as they are aware. However, two days is pushing for time.

Our situation has been reported in Turkish language newspaper Diyalog and featured on
local tv channels so its been well covered by the Turkish Cypriot media.
But so far we have had no local support.

It is so sad that this situation goes on and on. We bought a house 11 years ago. The Landowner is Hasan Sungur - Presidenty of the Estate Agents Union. He advises the government and is the architect of many of the laws in TRNC. HOWEVER, we still do not have our house, it is falling down now. 8 British people bought houses at Incesu and NO-ONE as got their houses. With this kind of corruption on the island the laws will NEVER BE CHANGED!!!!!!!

Exactly jock. I feel so sorry for all the people being scammed in all these dreadful fake mortgage frauds.

And I am asked to sign a petition for recognition for a country run by a government which clearly condones it all!
