On off.
On off.
It appears we are now being supplied with well water instead of Turkish.
Any idea what's going on ?
I suspect it's all down to someone not paying Turkey for the water.

Or a reluctance to pay for water when they have an alternative supply which is free - apart from the cost of running the pump, and I wonder whether they pay for the electricity! And of course, they still charge you the new price...
It rather defeats the objective of halting desertification and replenishing the Country's water table - there's no defeating sheer greed is there?

Re: Esentepe Water
The council are not responsible for the pumphouse and electricity it uses, its run by a Turkish company. It may be something to do with leaks or work to the system again I suspect. I'm also hearing that the pumphouse is remotely controlled and if, as rumours suggest, they have not paid the bill they can switch it off from the control centre. I've been testing my water every few days and the ph is neutral so it's definitely not artesian water up to now.

I think you've nailed it Keith.
The Turkish water saga continues.
