Dalartokat, I find your comments over the top and pathetic. I know it was a mistake, why on earth would I deliberately spell a forum name wrong. Also why anyone found it offensive I do not know.

I simply said words to the affect that , some one had commented to me that rent a mob come out of the woodwork when I posted about immigration destroying the UK.. Those are the facts and whether you accept a genuine apology or not is your problem not mine. Maybe the person who deleted it can verify the message for you.

I have always glanced at your name and thought it was Darkalot. I can honestly say that I do not make a study of peoples names on here and of course when I am replying I cannot see the name to double check.

As far as I am concerned what you are saying JL is that those people that disagree with your views here are not genuine, that they come here and pretend to hold views different to yours for some unknown hidden ulterior motive and not because they actually genuinely hold such views. That you say it via hearsay, by relating what some one else has told you, does not, as far as I am concerned, absolve you of responsibility for you choosing to repeat such here, not legally or morally. It would be just as easy to suggest that those posters who have expressed support for you or your views are themselves just part of a 'rent a mob'. To do so would be rude and offensive, insulting and a form of personal attack on such people and their integrity as far as I am concerned. Which is, also as far as I am concerned, what your post above is and does, as far as it labels or seeks to label Dalartokat as part of such a fictional 'rent a mob'.

I have asked this before...Why is Erol so revered on this forum, he is allowed to be offensive and say what the hell he likes without question.

Everyone else gets a warning. Strange.

Am I revered here ? Am I allowed to be offensive and say what the hell I like without question when everyone else gets a warning ? How would you even know if I had in the past been warned or not ?

Clearly you appear to think that I am offensive to other posters here and that no action is taken against me but is that actually true or is it even something that many others who use this forum think ? Maybe we should have a poll on the subject, for if it is the case that significant numbers of users of this forum think I am offensive, then I certainly would like to know that is the case so I could act accordingly.

Dklt. Abbreviated for speed only. No ulterior motive. People have abbreviated mine to J.L. I take no offence. I have asked you now at least twice where did I once state I received my pension ? Maybe you misread it like I misread your name ?.

Also please note the comment was made to me by someone else. Yet you have come on here dictating to me , saying I know full well what I am doing etc. etc. Who do you think you are. ?

I will ask you again where did I once say I was getting my pension. If it was a mistake on your part then I accept that.

I read the first paragraph, well if I asked the question, I clearly think so.

How can you delete a post that the recipient never even saw ?....If posts are deleted because someone finds it offensive then I would have thought there would be very few posts made.

I think Dalartokat should be the one who deems it offensive or not especially if it was aimed at her/him ?

Without going into detail, the post was deleted following a report by a Kibkom member. I read the post and whilst the poster may have posted what they felt was light hearted banter, after deliberation I decided that the contents could possibly be misinterpreted by others.

The reason for this is because the written word on an Internet forum without having sight of the facial expression or tone in which it was delivered can seem so much different.

I have no idea whether the recipient saw the post, that is immaterial - please feel free to contact Darlarkotat via pm or email to gain their view on this matter. What is important is the post was reported, I looked at the topic and all posts and in my opinion and on balance decided this particular post needed to be deleted. As a moderator I did what I believed to be the correct action.

Moderators do not have to explain their actions as per forum rules, however I personally do on occasion contact posters off line to discuss/explain further. As we also have a life, sometimes there is just not the time. We are damned if we delete a post or lock a topic to early and again receive negative comments should we let the topic run for too long. If we let a topic run we often find it goes downhill quickly and is just a few individuals exchanging on line insults which have nothing to do with the original topic. We are in a no win situation.

As far as this topic is concerned I think it has run its course and is now locked.
