Blue Air from Larnaca to UK
Anyone have any experience good or bad flying with this airline.
I have just booked a flight to UK from Larnaca which was a great price.
I did not book a bag in hold at the same time as the price seemed steep at 34 euros. 50 euros at the airport if not pre booked.
If I change my mind and decide to book a bag in the hold before I check in online is this possible? Can't find info on the website which would answer this question.
Thanks in advance

Used Blue Air on several occasions. Hold luggage weight limit is 32kgs. Hand luggage limit is 10kgs.
Meal and drinks on flight are included.
If you want to add a hold case then best to call them. They will then send a revised e ticket.
All in all a great company.

Blue Air are very helpful. Their UK customer care people are absolutely brilliant. Recently booked friends through to Luton. Required a spelling change on a surname and they did it free of charge. Later added a hold bag onto the booking with no problems. My friends said it was a good flight.
Using them myself next week to fly to Liverpool. Will report back when I return.

I have flown Blue Air four times and found them to be very good. I used up the 32 kg allowance plus 10g free hand luggage.
My friend requested the wheelchair service and everything went very smoothly.

My sisters just flown here with her son from lpool tp larnaca . Her immediate comment on arrival was that it was better than easyjet . She booked thr flight as it was cheaper than easyjet . When i looked for some flights to lpool easyjet where cheaper so swings and roundabouts . She did appreciate the food there was blue cheese chicken though neither if them ate it and a chicolatr mousse that want really nice . Although they didntnlike the food she wasnt been critical really and saw it as a bonus comoared to easyjet .

This is all sounding very good - we're flying with them later in the month for the first time, so it's nice to hear such positive recommendations, thank you to those who posted them

Woodspeckie,
There are 2 direct flights a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays, the schedule is only shown until 28th October so they either stop flying then or have not released their winter schedule which seems a bit unlikely at this late date.

It was December departure return March Flights I checked so as you say they may not have released winter schedule and may not do a direct flight then.

I've done one trip LPL to LCA with Easyjet (I usually use MAN but Easyjet don't); no problems with E/jet at all - a friend has used them a few times, and says is very pleased with them.

My son and family flew back to Birmingham from Larnaca yesterday with Blue Air. He was impressed with them. Quite good (airline) food provided, good flight attendants, and on time. Nowhere near fully booked.

That made me chuckle Sussex Boy, whilst looking at Sept/Oct dates there was a message, only one seat left going out & two coming back, may well be but I am booked with BA.

Hurts me to say it but BA is probably the worst airline servicing Cyprus these days.

I agree, I always regarded BA as a Premium airline, and had a vague feeling of patriotism and pride when using them, and if you booked well in advance and we're careful with dates, then you could often get a bargain...Hedge-fund wrote:Hurts me to say it but BA is probably the worst airline servicing Cyprus these days.
Nowadays, I'd rather suffer Easyjet and know that I'm getting what I've paid for, or Cobalt - an excellent 30 quid's worth!
I'll certainly consider Blue Air if they're 'in the frame' when I arrange my next trip...

Flew Blue Air into Liverpool last week. Flight was half full so had three seats to myself, cabin staff were friendly and efficient, food was ok and the flight landed early. All in all a good experience. Would definitely use them again.

I did Blue air bhx LCA son did Lpl LCA LCA BHX excellent service luggage 30 kg pay per case 10kg onboard
Food included and wine nuts and boiled sweets when landing plus sherry!
I'd do them again still prefer TA ECN but stop over in IST a pain but the occasional upgrade to business class makes it worthwhile
