The Esentepe dump is still smouldering away with occasional flare ups, nobody in authority seems to be concerned. People are still throwing out cigarettes from cars and so many houses have BBQs in gardens backing on to tinder dry vegetation that it's only a matter of time before we are on that map.

Well at least they came up this last weeks and worked on widening the fire breaks all around is. It's usually done around end May, early June but better late than never.
