Satellite Internet

Hi Everyone,
Has anyone on here had experience of Satellite Internet?

We have a holiday home in the UK with the Holiday Park offering wi fi on the site included in the site fee. The downside is the system is very slow almost non existent. The other problem is we cannot have a telephone line due to logistical problems on the site so no internet through the phone line.

There are companies in the UK who provide satellite internet which look favorable for our needs at a reasonable cost, we have no idea how good these services are.

We are minimum users of the internet, we dont download music, not much streaming.

Any advise would be appreciated, thank you.

Mollie , there was a piece in I think the daily mail on line last week about a guy in the uk who done exactly that, can't recall the exact details, a satellite over Africa, the man was very pleased with the results!

If this for UK use why not try free sat we have used it in our home and it works fine and easily available in the UK
