Carpet cleaning

looks like (smells like) a tenant has spilt some milk on a large woolen / Fibre rug and has not immediately cleaned it off. In fact it smells like it has been festering away for quite a while, also looks like red wine staining. The rug was quite expensive and not very old so I don't want to just throw it away. Does anyone know where in the Lapta area I can take it to to have it well cleaned?

All of the car washes do carpet cleaning but if it is milk you are going to struggle

Try the laundry /dry cleaners by deli cafe in Alsancak,they have cleaned rugs for us in the past

I would recommend the carpet cleaning company opposite Hebe Corba just before the big army camp in Girne. It costs 35TL for a large rug and they get them super clean. Would not bother with the car washes there is no comparison.

I second that, far better than the car washes. At the car washes they just jet wash them and by the time they have dried they smell worse than when they went. At the one opposite Hebe Corba they have the baths in the back that they go through and are cleaned in the proper way.

Sorry to ask but where is this specifically, I haven't seen Hebe Corby and where exactly is the big army camp in Girne, is it by the Rocks Hotel please?

Depends which direction you are coming from but assuming from Girne, with Jasmine Court on your right the army camp is just past this on both sides of the road. Immediately after the camp Hebe Corba is next on the right with the carpet cleaning company on the left. There is also a car lot next to it (same people). I think it's called Veezee Clean and the car lot is Veezee Cars (my spelling might not be right).
