Esentepe Beach!
Goodness! What on earth is happening to the local 'new' beach at Esentepe? The facilities, new last year I believe, are closed and the beach is not being cleaned or maintained at all. So disappointing that it appears to be left to fall into disrepair. Is something going on I'm not aware of or has all the available money been allocated to other municipal areas? (Please don't say the awful white 'statue' at the foot of the hill road into Esentepe village OR what appears to be an arch across the road! ).

Maybe the rent the Esentepe sports club are charging.

dremydiver, your enquiry would be better delivered to the Mayor, rather than posters on this forum. You could then inform, rather than query. IMHO, the beach project was another 'white elephant' to add to the 'white dove, we love Esentepe' statue and outdoor aviary. The village has far more pressing needs.

if you can get any water you certainly would not need a big bridge

OK.. can anyone advise as to how I can rasie my query / complaint to the mayor? I have no problems with this if pointed in the right direction (might also ask about litter!). Thanks.tomsteel wrote:dremydiver, your enquiry would be better delivered to the Mayor, rather than posters on this forum. You could then inform, rather than query. dremydiver, you can either write to him as I did on water infrastructure pricing inequality treatment of inhabitants living outside the village or go to the Belidiyse and seek an interview. I suspect your query will be treated just as mine was, but you'll have the satisfaction of voicing your opinion.

My wife and I were there yesterday and it was business as usual.
