Lapttop Problem.

I have owned a Samsung Notepad using Windows XP for 7/8 years. I am not pc literate but have always managed to undo tangles i have got into.

Recently I attempted to increase the size of the mouse curser, which seemed easy enough from the mouse menu. However upon Ok'ing the change i found that the screen has turned into pure text, even the opening load up page, no icons just text, and the curser didn't alter size anyway!

Any ideas how I can restore back to normal?

Thanks,
tt.

Sounds very strange and I am guessing you did a lot more than change the cursor size! A system restore sounds like the way to go.

Why did I not think of that? - Thanks.

Basic restore did not do the business, I couldn't find an option to set my own restore date, the only option was a full retore which put the pc back to 2009. so I have lost a load of stuff, the wi-fi connection is now playing up but at least the graphics, colours icons etc are all restored. Bally computers.

You might want to activate the 'System Restore' option - it sounds as though it isn't actually turned on...
