Insurance for a holiday house in TRNC

Can anyone recommend home buildings insurance for my holiday house in TRNC please. We only go out to the house twice a year

Be sure to read small print re house being checked every 30days etc or insurance not valid.

Also make the insurance provider is properly underwritten... without this safeguard the insurance is a risk.

We have the keys to a nearby house, only occupied twice a year. In the smallest of small print their policy said that in the event of a fire someone close by should give the firefighters the keys to get into the house, then their policy would be lull and void.

I have now had a quote from North Cyprus Property Insurance who advertises on this forum. They have quoted me £300pa for our 4 bed house holiday home. The policy is underwritten by Lloyds of London. Our property does not have to be inspected every so often as required by other insurance companies as it is cover for a holiday home.

I am thinking about whether to proceed. There is a 11% additional charge if going to pay monthly
