Informal singing group/ choir

I was wondering if there are any choirs or groups who like to get together to perform popular music, show songs etc., purely for fun and enjoyment? Preferably from Girne to Catalkoy area.
I'd love to hear from any such, and to get involved.

There is always Kyrenia Chamber Choir, meeting this evening in St Andrews Church Hall. They don't always "do" the serious stuff you know and are preparing for Christmas now. Give them a go!!

Thank you for the suggestion Sophie. I did think there must be people coming together to sing, somewhere around!
I don't really even have a problem with the 'serious stuff' , though I'd shy away from the overtly religious......but more that the ethos of the group be more informal and light hearted.
All suggestions appreciated!
