Can anyone recommend a quality handyman/all rounder who can change laminate kitchen work surfaces, plaster & tile? It would be nice if they charged the local going rate instead of the "His English so therefore we will automatically change TL prices to ££'s" system that I seem to have come across recently.
Thanks advance

With respect - although unintentional no doubt, your post does come across as somewhat cynical and mean minded.
Folks here are unlikely to recommend guys who have ripped them off!
Try and obtain two quotations and, if possible, ask to see any nearby work they have carried out.
It would also be helpful to disclose your location

Nah, not being cynical just telling you how it is for me. If local workers or expats are now on £150 - 200 a day fair enough but I dont think so, do you? Not being racist as all Nationalities seem to think I am fair game because I own a house here. Luckily I have a fair idea of UK costs in both materials & labour & both should not be more here! If the above makes me mean minded in your opinion I couldn't care less. If your experiences have been different please recommnend tradesmen that work East of Girne.
Regards
