Pink Walk for Cancer

This year Kanser Hastalarına Yardım Derneği /Help Those With Cancer Association are organising a Pink Walk to launch Pink October 2017 for Breast Cancer awareness.

The walk will take place on Sunday, 1st October 2017 and will start at 10am from the square outside the Girne Belediye.

There will be a nominal charge of 10TL per person to participate and this includes everyone receiving a small bottle of water.

There will be stalls selling goods and also one selling this year's pink t-shirts.

The walk is only 2.78 kms and will be via Girne Castle walls, along the harbour front down to the Dome Hotel and back up to the breakwater wall. For those that wish to walk the full distance then the walk will continue along the breakwater wall and back. Walkers will then return along the old harbour, up past the Girne Castle walls and back to the square outside the Girne Belediye offices.
