Hi.

I have unfortunately developed an abscess on my tooth. Antibiotics have failed to cure it and I need to have it removed. Do you know if there is anywhere that offers emergency treatment as it's driving me crazy.

Thanks

Rosie

I don`t know where you are but i recently had some work done by Dr.Alev Inan in the Tip Merkezi just off the mosque roundabout on the Salamis Road in Famagusta.I was seen to within half an hour of arriving,she is very good.Not sure about Saturday hours though.Charges very reasonable.

Hi Rosehillgirl,
If you haven't got fixed up already I can recommend Sevim Gunday for your treatment. I have used her for a number of years and having a bit of phobia for dentists she completely put me at ease. Her practise is very modern, hygenic and easy to access and her telephone numbers;
0533 829 4608
0392 815 3756
Best of luck, an abscess is a terrible thing.

Most dentists would not remove a tooth while it is infected. Might need a stronger more specific antibiotic.

Agree with sultan, you need to get the infection under control before work is carried out. My husband had the unfortunate experience of having a tooth out while the infection was active and he said the pain was intolerable, even with anaesthetic.
