Unless you are leaving the country over the weekend. I'm sure it can wait until next week.

Not if you're already on day 14, and the penalty is due to double on day 15!!!gary&shirley wrote:Unless you are leaving the country over the weekend. I'm sure it can wait until next week.

Can someone else go in and pay it for you? If so let me know as I'm in by there on Tuesday.

Re: Girne Police Station.
You have to have the driving license of the person getting fined to pay( from experience)
Re: Girne Police Station.
I don't think you can leave the country if you have an unpaid fine can you ????

Re: Girne Police Station.
I went in about 18 months ago to pay a fine (I knew the camera had flashed) and was told, "come back in two or three months. We haven't got the paperwork" Actually I forgot about it and didn't go to pay for well over 6 months, and went in and out of country twice in that time. Fine was 155tl so obviously they have tightened their procedures up since then and doubled the fine. Must bare that in mind!!!

Re: Girne Police Station.
The fine is related to the extent to which you exceed the limit, for instance 93Kph in a 75 Kph zone will cost you 217.50TL
