We have reached our target on the 1st phase of our Vet Treatment Room Project!!!!
A HUGE THANK YOU to all those that contributed. As you can see from the photograph it is all ready for use. It is a lovely facility in which to give treatment, health checks and triage to the animals as well as a clean and tidy store for medications etc.

The 2nd phase is to purchase equipment for the room such as a stainless steel table, animal weighing scales, dog bath and grooming equipment, LED mobile lamps and steriliser etc. Phase two will be announced soon.

I think that the staff and volunteers at the rescue centre would be most offended by being referred to as "s... shovellers". Yes, it is part of the job but much more is involved to care for the puppies, dogs, cats and kitten. To refer to them in such a disparaging manner is an insult to the hard-working and dedicated people at the rescue centre. Perhaps if the poster visited the rescue centre more often and actually knew what went on, she would not make such remarks.
