Advice re Purchasing a new phone
I am about to buy a new phone as unfortunately I have lost my old one which was a gift therefore I have not actually shopped for a phone in North Cyprus before. I would be grateful if anyone could advise me of the cheapest place to purchase one. I am looking for a phone that is not too large, but has a big memory, a decent camera and capacity for further storage, Many thanks.

Re: Advice re Purchasing a new phone
Opposite Erdener supermarket in Catalkoy is a row of new shops (4 blocks of 11 shops). Some are occupied and some still empty. In one of the occupied shops is a mobile phone shop (Telsim, I think). The guy has a decent range of phones, is very knowledgeable and speaks perfect English. We bought 2 Cyprus registered phones from him recently.

Re: Advice re Purchasing a new phone
You can purchase new phones in all the Telsim shops, all the Turkcell shops, in Lemar stores and loads of other smaller shops dotted around Girne. There is one street in Girne, referred to as the Mobile phone street, on the RHS down the hill from Georges Pub.

The assumption being you live near Girne. You might also consider a reconditioned 'phone.
