What a fantastic Bazaar

KAR CHRISTMAS BAZAAR
Our Annual Christmas Bazaar last Saturday recorded takings of an amazing 30,000TL. It was enjoyed by over five hundred people and the festive atmosphere was amazing.
The venue at Pia Bella Hotel worked wonderfully with many of the staff joining in the fun and our very own DJ Yuliyan organising the music. The volunteers who manned the stalls worked their socks off on the day and before hand to get everything prepared and priced. A huge thank you to them all.
The raffle was a sell out and the winner of the First prize of a Return flight ticket to and from Ercan to Stansted airports very kindly donated by Cyprus Paradise Holidays was won by Sandra Austen (Tkt No. 699). The second prize, 500TL of shopping vouchers kindly donated by Lemar Supermarket was won by Niyazi of Petline Vet clinic (Tkt No. 586). The Third prize of a Luxury Christmas Hamper was won by Janice Harper (Tkt No 809). A full list of the 32 winners is available at the KAR office and all the happy winners have been notified. A big thank you goes to all those that very kindly donated prizes and made the raffle such a great success.
Four of the seven dogs brought to the Bazaar looking beautiful in their lovely yellow 'I need a home' coats were offered forever homes. We wish Grace, Fleur, Fauna and the famous Hamish lots of best wishes for a very special Christmas in their new homes.
A big thank you to all those attended, spent their money and supported KAR’s work with the stray and abandoned animals.

Not sure wh enjoyed it most: the animals who loved all the fuss made of them, the wonderful people manning the stall. the people who got up to have a boogie OR the waiters and other staff who really joined in all the fun. Plus it was warm and sunny!!!
