Sadly, we have never been able to obtain one, North or South. There is a fortune for anyone prepared to get them shipped here. Buys them from medical shops in UK, they are less VAT, which is a bonus.

They hardly weigh a thing and not everyone is a Kibcomer. Perhaps you can bring them in any case?

Re: Folding walking stick
I am still using the one you kindly brought me some time ago, but it you are coming and have some I will keep one for myself as a spare., and can hold on to the other until someone else needs it. PS getting a scooter makes it more necesssary to have folding as they do not come with holders for full sticks. Otherwise what about Cheshire Homes - they loan (on donation) walking equipment etc. I can introduce you when you get here Woodspeckie

This may be off the mark but in Famagusta old town there is a disability aids shop, and they have a couple of delivery vans too.
To find them take harbour road past the huge bronze monument and then take the first road into the city wall.
Through the arch turn left, park in the first car park on the left - about 50 metres, and the shop is opposite.
Will take my folder with me next time I am over in March !
