Is there such a thing here? Was thinking of using Labne with a bit of cream in it?

Replies gratefully received. Thanks

I have only once seen Creme Fraiche here and that was some time ago.

Google it and you will find how to make it or substitutes,, including plain yoghurt.

I dont know if you could use this for cooking, but for toppings for puds and fruit salads I whip equal quantities of plain creme and yoghurt. If desired, and depending on the base, sweeten with a little sugar or honey. You can also whip fruit into it and freeze for a healthy ice cream

You could try marscapone.

Add a little lemon juice (not too much) to whipping cream. Mascarpone is nothing like crème fraiche. It is a very thick, slightly sweet cream cheese.

Fatouche has the best suggestion by far. Its one of the ideas that chefs make. Its just that crème fraiche is healthier.
