Blood Donation - Impressive service

This week I needed to sources O negative blood for an operation, the hospital already had some but I wanted to help out so as not to delay the operation.
I made a call to Steve Collard from 112 who quickly passed a telephone number on to me as the contact whose name is Umit. I called him and within one hour he called me back to say that 2 units of this blood was in the State hospital waiting for me.
Impressive service I hope you agree.

I cannot thank them enough for their help as well as the donors.

I felt I had to post this information as we can be very quick to blame and criticise but not always as speedy and public with our praise.
