The RBL Theatre Players need you! Singers, actors and more

The RBL Theatre Players are looking for performers and company singers to join them for a musical production of ‘Finding Christmas’ to be staged at the Alsancak Belediye theatre at the end of November 2018. The production is based on ‘A Christmas Carol’ by Charles Dickens, and adapted for community theatre by Director Ian Chennell, and is likely to run for five performances consisting of two matinees and three evening shows.
Applications/expressions of interest are invited from anyone, irrespective of age, the only criteria being the ability or at least a desire to sing and a willingness to attend an audition process, likewise with actors. (There will be opportunities for solo and company numbers). Rehearsals for this production will be held twice weekly at The Black Olive dance studios in Alsancak and will commence in May with a break for summer during July/August, and resuming in September.
The Theatre Players are also seeking volunteers who may have an interest in costume design and production to develop our extensive wardrobe. For those interested, training can be given by our “costume maker to the stars” Sue Birchall.
The RBL Theatre Players fall under the umbrella of the Royal British Legion Kyrenia Branch, this is a registered charity. All members of the Theatre Players are ‘volunteers’ and receive no payment for their involvement.
