Hi Deniz1,
I have looked in the one in Girne but did not see anything I liked, the one in Famagusta is very large and has a lot more choice
I am told.

A couple we met in Gazi Magusa live in Protaras buy their curtains etc at this warehouse.
We have forgotten directions cos we were going to try to find on our last visit that way. However, I remember it is on industrial estate on the way towards the crossing point to south. Highly recommended especially as shops in Arasta, Lefkosa seem to get stuff there.

Hi The Butlers Wife. I Found these directions from the South. Hope it helps.
There is the most fantastic material warehouse in Famagusta, just over the border. They do absolutely every sort of material you can think of.
Directions: After you've gone through the check-point and down the long road past the speed camera, go straight over the first roundabout and then take the first turning on the right, signposed Varosha. Follow this long road right to the end until you come to a t-junction. Turn right then follow the road round to the left (there'll be a little shop in front of you on the right hand side). Look ahead of you and you'll see the top of a mosque. Follow this road towards the mosque, you'll go past a childrens play area on the right, keep going down here. You go over some speed humps and eventually you'll come to a place on the right that sells large gas bottles and there's a large 'Oxygen' sign hanging up. Turn right here, then take first left. The warehouse is up on the left hand side. There are no signs outside or name of it but there's usually cars outside and it's the only building open on that road.

Hi amelia,
Thank you so much for these directions, although they are from the south I will try and follow them going to the checkpoint and turning round.
I have never been over that checkpoint, so it will be an adventure for me to find it.

Re: Curtain factory outlet store
Would the visit to the warehouse entail buying car insurance for driving in the South ?

Hi kiplet,
No the factory outlet is in the north, I will just find the checkpoint and turn round and follow the directions given.
Unless someone can give me the directions from the north then I won't need to do this.

Re: Curtain factory outlet store
amelia,
Thanks for the directions to warehouse, I would make one change and that is next to last where you say turn right where they sell large gas bottles. There were no bottles to be seen and we missed it. For others that follow turn right after the mosque you may see the sign on the corner saying Oxygen.
Other half was very happy, we have wanted to find this place for a few years. Both her and friend had to spend some cash!!!!
Thanks for posting.

Re: Curtain factory outlet store
A leading question but will try.
From lefkosa drive right along the main road through Magusa where all the shops and bars etc are, the Old City walls on your left. You come to a roundabout with a huge monument of various figures in the middle. Here I am on auto pilot so cannot remember the number of exits but it is almost straight across the roundabout and may be 2nd exit, it is a straight road in front of you with shops and offices etc on both sides.
You follow this road and pass two petrol stations on the left about 150 yards apart. Then look out for a left turn that has one of those blue and white signs indicating Euro funding, it is not huge so steady away. Then you are on the route as described above as a long road until T-junction.
If you come to a roundabout you have gone too far, it is only a short distance to go right around, back the way you came and then first right where the EU sign is.
Do not worry going through the streets that you are lost, the directions above are spot on to follow.
If you get lost I will plead insanity!!!
