Re: renew driving licence
Renewed mine today at Girne, required: copy of passport photo page, 2 x photos on white background, old licence, application form and fee. Please note that on a renewal the minimum is 2 years and don't try and use a credit west debit card as they don't have a card plus machine.

Re: renew driving licence
When we renewed ours, refused the 'normal'size passport photos, apparently the requirement is a slightly bigger one so had to go and get them done, went to Yucels as advised in previous posts, walked straight in, photo taken, waited 10 mins then away and back to office.

Re: renew driving licence
Bear in mind the cost per annum of a TRNC driving licence drops the longer you renew one for.
It'll cost 240TL to renew for 2 years (120 TL per year)
325TL for 3 years (108.33 TL per year)
490TL for 5 years, (98 TL per year)
815TL for 10 years (81.50 TL per year)
So unless getting passport photos taken, filling in forms and queuing in Government Offices is your idea of a fun day out, then you might as well renew for 5 or 10 years!
(And no doubt the cost will go up next time they review it - and as the last increase was mid-2017 that could be soon....)
