Bathroom and Fireplace showrooms

Hi all,
We are coming over this week and need to shop around for a new bathroom and fireplace surrounds. I know there is a bathroom showroom on the road to Ercan, are there any others?
In Girne there is a log burner shop, but we need a surround. Possibly have to be custom built? Any recommendations, addresses etc. will be most welcome.
Thanks

There is a shop called Padus or something like that on the main road at Chatalkoy and another big showroom on the road leading down to the old Harbour opposite Lords Palace Hotel. Sorry but have forgotten the name. Hope that helps. Good luck. You can choose your surround from any of the marble outlets and have it installed. Trapatine is popular

Ermitag have bathroom showrooms in Lefkosha and Kyrenia, we had a limestone fireplace made by Urgel at Haspolat but you need to have some ideas preferably from magazines or internet

PAKDUS I must say have some very good gear. Mert speaks good English and very helpful. However we were not so impressed by the fitters employed by them or indeed the after sales and response to telephone calls. Would suggest you hold back final settlement money until you are fully satisfied with installation. I am still waiting for a very small snagging job to be completed. We are very pleased with the quality of the materials used.

We went to Ermitas opposite Lords Palace yesterday, staff extremely helpful and managed to get 15% discount.

We are creating a wet room to our upstairs bathroom so needed a new rain shower with hand held shower head as well, new set of taps, 5 square metres of non slip tiles, 40cm long drain all for the princely sum of 690tl.

Got to get a glass screen which is about 300tl so just under 1000tl and got a guy doing the installation for £170 so total is going to be less than £400.

Bargain I say

kedikat2903, we are east side in Esentepe and the guy works for himself, first time we've used him so cannot comment. Will update again on completion of the job, may use him for downstairs bathroom as well and he does some carpentry.
