Yes. Made an enquiry, Avalon contacted me for a convenient time for their rep to call. He 'phoned, came on time and explained the plans on offer. We went with a basic plan which covers both the TRNC and UK. There was no pressure!

Re: Avalon Funeral Plans
Very happy with their service so far, good communications with both the rep in Cyprus and the office in Spain (Head office in UK), strange to be phoned from a "Spain" phone number and my fault for ignoring it for quite some time - however that was the only problem I encountered. The Cyprus rep "Ian" is most helpful and will lay out all the options for each individual - no arm up the back sales! As for prices, it is entirely dependent on what you want and as it is a very personal thing, that a lot of people find difficult to even talk about, it would be better to talk to the rep yourselves.

Re: Avalon Funeral Plans
As waddo so eloquently stated, pricing depends upon your choice of plan. Ian, their rep, was most precise on his briefing. I would advise you to contact Avalon if you are interested. Prices may well have changed since we took out our plan.

Thanks for the replies. I have had a visit from Ian and I am considering a plan I was just testing to the water to see if anyone had any bad vibes from the company. Totally agree with everything said, Ian is always on time and chatty puts you at ease and definitely no pressure.

Which Cemetery would they use in North Cyprus? Are they a registered company?

I am surprised not to have received a reply to my questions as to which Cemetery would be used in North Cyprus - I expected Avalon to come back to me.

Jenny T, have you asked Avalon? This is a thread about them not by them.

I guess much would depend upon the faith of the departed - just a thought. Why not contact Avalon and share the answer?Jenny T wrote:I am surprised not to have received a reply to my questions as to which Cemetery would be used in North Cyprus - I expected Avalon to come back to me.

Jenny T, If you have not already contacted Ian then please do so, his email address is shown above. Failing that why not contact Avalon direct:https://avalonfuneralplans.com/european-plans/faqs/ Go direct to the horses mouth so to speak, they will be able to answer all of the questions not already answered on their FAQ's.
