Well worth a look if you have never been there.

Head out on the Lefkosa - Gazimagusa road (D30 dual carriageway), past the Ercan Airport turnoff and on for some distance. You will eventually come to a roundabout on the outskirts of Gazimagusa.

Turn right at the roundabout (2nd exit) signposted to Town Centre
Continue till you come to a roundabout with a large monument on it and turn right (3rd exit). Note - the first exit takes you to the old town and the second exit takes you to the Palm Court Hotel.+

After the roundabout, continue for a few hundred meters, past 2 petrol stations on the left, about 200 metres apart, and take the first left approx 50 meters past the second petrol station there is a high-rise apartment block on the left just before the junction Halken Tower.

You are now on Ziva Golkalk Cad (or similar).

Continue down this road (which has several speed bumps) for about 3 Kms. After about 2 Kms there is an old Greek church on the left and immediately after that, fenced off Army land. Continue on to a T Junction.

Turn right at the T Junction and continue for about 50 metres where there is another T Junction.

Turn left at this junction and a few hundred metres ahead you should see the 2 minarets of the Mosque, which will be on the right hand side of the road.

As you pass the Mosque, ignore the first road on the right immediately after it (a dead end), and take the next right about 40 Metres away.

Proceed for 50 metres then turn left. The warehouse is about 50 metres up on the left. There were no rolls of material outside the warehouse and we actually missed it on the first pass.

+ for Palm Court take 2nd exit at monument roundabout. Old town on LHS. At T Junction turn right them 1st left. Follow one way system to Palm court.

Thank you for the information, much appreciated. I have been taken there once, but it was a different route, and doubt I could remember it. Have bookmarked this info for the future.

I'm sure that a lot of people will be referring to Kath's post for directions in the future - I've also bookmarked it...

Fab place, can spend hours choosing fabrics, Ezra the owner will make anything you need, not only curtains, cushions, sofa covers, outdoor/ pool cushions, he's a great bloke had a lot of items made and very happy with it all.

Do they do roller blinds as well please - something a bit more adventurous than is available in other shops?

Yes they do. He has a good eye for colour as well. Roman blinds, roller blinds etc.

I had a good chat with the owner while we were there last year. Apparently he owns 20 donums of land with his brother in Karsiyaka, South of the Guzelyali beach restaurants, which he wanted to use for a commune years ago but was thwarted by circumstances. His brother owns the curtain shop at Arasta market but now suffers from chronic dementia, unfortunately. So any future plans are on hold.
