HELP - Computer Problem - Now sorted Thank you Keith
Assistance please. I watch TV through my laptop HDMI connection to my TV. Suddenly I am getting sound through my laptop speaker rather than my TV speakers. No problem when using my old laptop, so it must be my computer rather than my TV. I would appreciate any help to rectify the matter.

I am pretty sure, that the issue is from the sound output setting on windows. You need to set the sound to go through the tv. I found this video for you, which shows step by step how to do it --> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S-wu3hBS9pc
Best of luck

Re: HELP - Computer Problem
For Windows 10.
With the TV switched on and connected to the computer via HDMI lead: -
Press the Windows key on your keyboard, or click on the Windows logo at the bottom left of your screen.
Click on the Settings 'cogwheel'
Enter the word SOUND into the search box, and select either 'Manage Audio devices' or 'Sound'
In the Sound dialogue box which will appear, there ought to be three entries, speakers, headphones and one other which should relate to the HDMI connection - click on this third entry so that it is highlighted, and then click on the box marked 'set default'.
If you now click on 'configure', you will see an icon marked 'test' - click on it, and you should hear a tone from the left speaker, and then from the right - click on 'cancel', then on OK.
The sound on your TV should now be working!
If you have a different operating system, you will need different instructions...
p.s. just saw post 2!
