Non dairy & gluten free

Does anyone know if any of the big supermarkets around Catalkoy sell any nondairy items, ie milk (almond, coconut or soya) also gluten free pasta and bread. Not very hopeful on this one but thought SAH might have something?

Şah, Supreme & Erdemler’ all have a range of Almond, Soya Coconut and Hazlenut milks, sweetened and unsweetened. Şah have gluten free products which are usually at the end of the aisle where the oils are displayed.

100% in the wrong area - but this could be handy for anyone on the West side of Kyrenia who has spotted the thread title...

Ileli in Alsancak have a good range of Gluten-free products, not sure about Non-dairy, although they do sell 'Soya Milk'

Erdener have non dairy gluten and diabetic items on a special section opposite the bread display.

Ask at the food lodge about GF bread. Supreme have a section with GF and dairy free just before you go into the meat and veg section

Hi Lhasa,
All the supermarkets have a "free from" of some description usually at the end of an aisle. Gluten free flour, rice cakes and spaghetti are readily available and the Pork Shop on the main road at Alsancak does gluten free sausages but you may need to order. Lemar used to sell corn bread but seem to have stopped but Supreme, Catalkoy do have it. Tempo and some others have Gram (chickpea) flour which I mix with Gluten free flour to make pastry/batter.
