Hi everyone

I am trying to work out which is the best day to insure our car to bring our grandkids from Larnaca on the 4th April.

I have found out that lst April (Sunday) is a National Holiday but when are the Orthodox Easter closures as regards the insurance office at the border.

We are trying to ascertain what is the latest we can do it to maximise the period of insurance after we take them back on the 25th so we can do a bit of Ikea shopping afterwards.

Grateful for help.

Try googling public holidays in Cyprus and it should give you the holiday dates.

Thankyou, will do that. Is the insurance office closed on Saturdays and Sundays?

In answer to above the insurance offices are open on Saturday but the South Tax Office is not ( if you need your permission to drive in the south). The Orthordox Easter is not the same as our Easter it is the week later.
