Where to buy new free-standing wardrobes/tall cupboards

Does anyone know which shops in the Girne area sell new, free-standing wardrobes and tall cupboards? Nothing fancy, just something workable.

I know Ikea in ROC is the best source, but the items would not fit into my car. I'll need to buy in TRNC so I can arrange delivery.

I've seen the wardrobes/cupboards in Stormax. Does any other shop have a selection?

Have you thought about asking one of the carpenters to make you some. Most of them can copy any pictures of the items you want.

Free standing wardrobe, we bought from Yatsan, we also had bed side cabinets made to match.

Try the store at Airport Mall. We bought ours there, and they will deliver. Sorry but cannot remember the name of the place.

Panchocat, the prices of ready-made, head-height wardrobes/cupboards (at Stormax) range from TL 445 for one that is 80cm wide to TL 555 for one that is 108cm wide.

These prices seem high when compared to Ikea, but I think a carpenter would charge more for a tailor-made cupboard. I will be using mine in a rental flat, and so should minimise the cost.

You could try Elektrokur the big light shop on the roundabout they have some furniture there but more in their sister shop Index in Lefkosa which is something like Ikea. They have a comprehensive catalogue & would deliver as do all shops here.
There is also Uzucu (the 'Spot' shop) which has a few branches round the town but a big warehouse next to the New Harbour

You could try forum member 'backtoback' on 0533 8854537 - they sell second hand furniture in Karsiyaka, and there's another place at the old Stumble inn in Lapta.
