For those of you, who like me haven't seen any for a year or more, Tempo in Karaoglanoglu have boxes on the shelves, but I guess it won't last long.

Now that's something; 3-4 years ago we came across (in Lemar) some that were banana flavour and apricot flavour - both varieties very enjoyable (not actually McVities, a local/Turkish make? But jaffa in all but name!). On every visit over the next couple of years, they were available, and each time we took several packets home - and then they disappeared, never to be seen again......
Never seen them in the UK!

I lived in the Sultanate of Oman for many years. There you could buy delicious Galaxy SMOOTH DARK chocolate bars. Never seen them anywhere else. Used to take a good supply back to UK each summer!

There is no shortage of loose leaf tea, everyone sells it. As to curried beans, nothing tastes the same, the nearest Ive ever got to it is by adding a decent dollop of HP sauce to basic Heinz BB.= together with some sultanas. Not the same I agree, but not bad.

If you like spicy beans, then next time in UK or even perhaps in S Nicosia, try Heinz new Creationz Mexican Beanz. I brought a few tins back in January.....lovely... and can be mixed with ordinary Heinz beans too if you want to make them go further?

I did find a curry paste once that when used carefully and with the addition of a small handful of sultanas mixed into normal Heinz baked beans almost, almost made it the same - but it never quite reached it! Best I try the Mexican creation before Trump builds his wall and cuts off the supply - lol.

So... if if we return to the shredded tweet/minced canary theme, and add curry - do we get a real hot chick.....?

Danke schon, the reason I asked is that a previous poster suggested that it would sell out quite quickly. It's gratifying to know that the Shredded Wheat junkies are showing some restraint

I knew I should have bought more than 2 boxes!! I opened first box this morning and forced myself to one portion only, just to make them last longer. How' s that for restraint!!??
