Hi northcyprus74, welcome to the forum. I think that you just need to click around the forum a little bit to get use to change. Tried best to keep simple but you will find with time that the functions available can be beneficial. There will be a Ranking system put in place soon.

Don't forget some people don't like change,l and other forums are trying to start to imitate Cyprus 44.
Also, I do think events is a good idea. My newspaper has cut the week's events shofrt at Monday (muck up in use of the space), so it will be good to have somewhere that the events are listed so that people can double check on what's on, as wlel as post those they want others to attend.
