Window 10 Update Assistant

Help... on windows 10 on my laptop.... keep getting this irritating 'Window 10 Update Assistant' appearing. I keep uninstalling the thing but within a short space of time... it re-installs itself!!! Any simple way of stopping this or do I take laptop to a computer shop!

There is an article about how to do this here, if you don't want to update Windows 10 to the latest version - it looks straightforward...

Windows updates tend to be for a reason. Usually your on line security is the main one to be concerned about. If you don't update your laptop it will eventually be vulnerable to all manner of problems.

Why not switch on automatic update and installation and be done with it? The most important aspect of windows updates is urgent security patches to keep your system safe.
