Directions to register a car

Hi Can someone give me directions please on where the building is in Lefkosa where i have to go to register my UK imported car ? I have paid the tax and had the new MOT - just need to register it for new log book, number plate and get the road tax. Thanx

You will need to go to the office in Lefkosa that also deals with road tax.

I haven't been there for 18 months, but as I recall it, if you come into Lefkosa from the Kyrenia roundabout keep going until you see the large Merit Hotel. Turn left oppsite there, and you'll see a single storey fairly grotty looking 'official' looking building. Park on the waste ground at the rear and its in there.

Brought on into Girne a couple of weeks ago and now need to get it's stay extended, I understand you have to do that at the Gumruk office in Lefkosia. The lady at the desk in Girne port seemed to think it was of note (good or bad) that I had less than 200 days in TRNC in the last 2 years, does anyone know the relevance of this?
