Can anybody confirm definitively if a UK passport holder can enter the TRNC via ROC with less than 6 months remaining on their passport. Is this allowed? This is specifically entering via the South. I have tried Googling but it is not 100% clear.
Please only answer if you know for a fact.
Many thanks.

Re: Passport validity on entering TRNC
It is always good practice to renew your passport early.
The UK Passport office will add up to 9 months onto your passport expiry date if you renew before you current one expires. I always put a note in the diary 9 months before the passport expiry date, then even if I don't fill the form in immediately, I'll still get in done in plenty of time. There really is no need to wait until the expiry date is near to renew.
There are countries where they won't accept a passport with less than 6 months on it (Turkey used to be one, but I'm not sure now), so if you always renew early you'll never have to worry.
