Amusing - and probably appropriate - that the top of the (linked) page proclaims "Where Barflies get together"...
Look up "Barf" and....
well, "lies" don't need explaining....

'She' considers many avenues of information and critically thinks about all....

'She' refuses to criticise others for their belief or resort to mockery or name calling even if she does not hold the same views...

'She' is very independent and can form her own opinions without having to run with pack for security and acceptance...

'She' will not go away and will continue to share articles with people who seem to be interested in given that they get looked at....'

And... oh dear... 'She' is quite amused by the responses she gets so thank you for that....

One last thing - 'She' does not suffer from cognitive dissonance....nothing to fear.....

Quote:

“Sometimes people hold a core belief that is very strong. When they are
presented with evidence that works against that belief, the new
evidence cannot be accepted. It would create a feeling that is
extremely uncomfortable, called cognitive dissonance. And because it
is so important to protect the core belief, they will rationalize,
ignore and even deny anything that doesn't fit in with the core belief.” .... end quote

Actually conspiracy theorists are more likely to suffer from cognitive dissonance than skeptics.

This covers it quite well;
http://uk.businessinsider.com/believing ... ial-2017-9

"The problem is, conspiracy theories stick in our minds because they are often tantalising and more interesting than the real story. This means we can suffer from cognitive dissonance, and reject any correct information that comes out way afterwards."

In The Psychology of Conspiracy Theories, Jan-Willem van Prooijen explains that while humans are highly evolved when it comes to the ability to draw conclusions and predict consequences based on sensory data and observation, sometimes those same processes can lead to oversimplifications and misperception through what psychologists refer to as cognitive bias.
They believe that big events must have big causes and tend to see causal relations where there may not be any and so accept explanations that fit what they already believe.

If you stick with the Occam's razor principle you won’t go far wrong.

Exactly and a good example of looking at both sides of the coin.... rather than one being true and one not being true - it all depends on your world view. And everyone is entitled to it. However I am not seeing evidence that 'conspiracy theorists' are more likely to suffer it - as once again its a point of view.

Tell me though... why do you never criticise the content of the posts with your occams razor? I can't resist the notion re. Oc. razor of the 'highly likely' with your view of the truth... Also why does it always end up being all about me me me LOL?

When I did use it and ponted out the unliklihood of the WTC being bought down by a controlled explosion you came back with that theory being out of date and it was now more likely that they were bought down by a ray gun!

OK how many people would you estimate it would have taken for the Americans, CIA or whatever to have arranged to bring down the WTC?
Remember these are the same masterminds that couldnt plant or fake up some pictures of WMDs in the thousands of miles of Iraqi desert and thus put that to bed.

Also with the Skripals, cui bono. Who benefits? ISIS, the British Government, Buddists, Avon ladies or Putin?
Life isn't complicated.

Easy the British Govt. , the Americans and the arms trade - certainly not the Russians....

Re. WTC etc. we did have discussions on that - this is the Skripal post and no one has picked the info in it apart.

So lastly - why the need to make my postings about me rather than the content?

Thanks for your response btw.

Of course not; neither this or this is genuine; both are clearly and undeniably fabrications by MI5/6, CIA, Mossad, DGSE, BOSS and millions of other similar evil organisations....
Russia could not possibly find any benefit or use in implying such fates on recalcitrant citizens...

It amuses me that conspiracy theorists come up with one crackpot theory after another and demand that you refute them.
I can accept that someone can rationally believe that something doesn’t add up and believe it is a conspiracy but as a rule of thumb conspiracy theorists believe absolutely everything is a conspiracy. That was why I previously asked you if you believe the moon landings were faked, still waiting for an answer on that.

The irony is conspiracy theorists accuse non-believers of being sheep for blindly following the accepted wisdom when they themselves blindly follow whatever is the latest crackpot theory floated on youtube.
They buy endless books explaining how government and big business carry out these convoluted plans for money without noticing that the authors of these books are earning a fortune peddling this nonsense.
Mr Davidson wrote:

You asked when I used occums razor and I replied that the discussion on the WTC as an occasion. My razor was quickly trumped with a ray gun of course which renders using logic as pointless.

I’ll ignore the arms dealers as the usual conspiracy tactic of including groups of three.
So here we go;

1) You’ll agree that it was a very public method of trying to kill someone? Almost as if a message was being sent?

2) You accept that America and the UK quite like having spies working for them? Obviously rewarding and protecting these spies is important and encourages them and future spies. Hence the exchange for Skirpal in 2010 when he probably had little intelligence value to the UK anymore.

3) Don’t you think the poisoning of Skirpal might discourage future spies working for America and the UK?

So with all that in mind it is highly unlikely that America and the UK poisoned him, no? Should the British government and the Americans have wanted to kill him wouldn’t they have chosen a time when his daughter wasn’t visiting and would have picked a more subtle method such as an induced heart attack?

Hi EJTS

Thank you for your response... I have been at the hospital due to an injury recently and also have a visitor from the UK in the following weeks and I work (sorry to spoil the view I spend all my time on conspiracy )... however I will respond to your comments and the moon landings once this is over... just give me some time as I am not avoiding the Q. I will respond later also some may find this tedious so that will give the post the opportunity to simmer out of activity and not create yawns...
