Killing large tree root
Advice please, a big Mimosa tree died in our garden this winter. It was cut down but now there are lots of new shoots coming from various places on the roots and they are growing very quickly! Is there a reasonably easy way to tackle this?

Drill several holes into the root and then fill with weedkiller or diesel

I have successfully used granular chlorine too. You can drill, insert a cut off bottle as a funnel too
Some are wise and some otherwise.....
