Just turned the TV on and found that rate of exchange has just hit 6 to the pound and 4.45 to the dollar.

Probably because Erdoğan has announced that he intends to 'take control' of the currency and interest rates etc....

Looking omious next stop u.s. fines/sanctiions could very well end up some capital controls to stop the flight of foreign money saving the banks

£ is still quite weak against $ & Euro so TL6++ is likely if £ rallies?
