Not sure I am seen as a TC by many, though in any legal sense I am. I am also not sure I should share my own personal views on the Cyprus problem here, as they are not 'mainstream' and may well upset many, TC or otherwise.

"We must all understand that the only safe course for us and the Turkish Cypriots is a settlement that secures political equality and stability. It is also time our top priests restricted themselves to their spiritual duties and stopped the sly propaganda in support of a two-state solution. Someone must, at long last, remind them they do not have a clean record as they bear the biggest responsibility for the disappearance of Greek Cypriots from northern Cyprus."

Nice "opinion" but only putting into words what has been know for many years! Loved the comparison between Girne now and Kyrenia then - shame there was also no comparison between Pathos then and now!! Also no comparison between the amount both populations have increased by non-Cypriots!

We will all have our own views - be us Aliens or Cypriots - on what "should" happen but I feel that whatever happens should be left to the Cypriots alone - it is there country, both sides of the divide, and what happens with it should be left to them. As guests in their country we can then either agree and stay or disagree and leave!!
No matter how hard the past, you can always begin again.
