Radio-controlled model aeroplanes

Does anybody know the whereabouts of any radio controlled flying model airplanes clubs. or anybody interested in starting a club.

There was this thread on Cyprus 44 a while ago.

Sadly, the guy who started the thread (Roy, aka Tenakoutou) died, but I think that Kadir at Ronnies Furniture might still be interested (that's between Karaoğlanoğlu and Girne) - he would certainly know if there is an organised club...

I heard a while back that there was an organisation that flew model planes from Geçitkale Airport. Whether they are still going or not I do not know. Will check Kibkom threads to see if I can find anything.
