What a cracking night at the Courtyard last evening. New band Gasoline, despite threatening the combined ages of the Rolling Stones, proved that 70 is the new 20. An abundance of rock and blues classics, including ZZ Top, Billy Ray Vaughan and the Stones entertained the packed audience, who bayed for more. Folks were jumping out of their wheelchairs to get to the dance floor the atmosphere was so good. Mo said it was like the good ol' days when women were throwing their city slickers at Brian Delaney. Good news is that if you missed it they are on again at the Courtyard next Wednesday 27th June. If you want to eat I would book straight away, and wear your dancing shoes.

(Was that alright, Paul?)

Totally agree with Frontalman - a great night and Gasoline are a breath of fresh air as talented musicians and the repertoire they played. Believe the next gig at the Courtyard is the 26th unless it has been altered to the 27th. One gig NOT to be missed. Well done guys - we all thoroughly enjoyed your music.

Billy Ray Vaughan? Or Stevie?

I stand corrected, Gavin, but it definitely wasn't Frankie Vaughan.

It was supposed to be Thursday 28th but England are playing that night so they changed it to Wednesday 27th, I believe. If that's not true, someone will correct me.

Every time you walked by I hid under the table, I'm sick and tired of you tapping me up for a fiver.

No, we didn't get there until 10 o'clockish because it was sold out, and we sat with Gwyn by the outside bar. I didn't spot you until you sneaked out early to get the last bus home I did call out your name but you ignored me, I suppose your batteries must have run out.

Yes, it was really enjoyable for all concerned. We certainly enjoyed it and are looking forward to next Wednesday's GIg which looks like being as busy. If you want to book a table - 0533 860 6815

I don't know about a record contract (does anyone even buy records any more ?) but I do know that a professional live video is being shot at Wednesday's Gig.

If you would like to appear in the video, bring your dancing shoes, show us your moves and you may be edited into the final cut.

It's a long shot I know, but does anyone have, or know someone who has an old-style petrol pump and/or old garage-type signs for sale. If you have, or do - telephone number below ASAP. Thanks
