No Deniz Otobus between Girne & Taşucu until April

According to http://www.gundemkibris.com/deniz-otobu ... 44488h.htm the two companies that operate the above fast catamaran (or Deniz Otobus) service, Fergün Denizcilik & Akgünler Denizcilik, have decided to discontinue the service indefinitely in the case of Fergün and until April in the case of Akgünler.

The director of Fergün Denizcilik , Niyazi Güvenir, told BRT that it had stopped its operations due to higher costs and a decrease in passenger numbers. He went on to say that the government was not supporting TRNC's maritime transportation in the same way as it was supporting the air transportation industry.

The car ferry (or feribot) between Girne & Taşucu will continue as normal.

In the report, it doesn't write anything about the Deniz Otobus service to Alanya.
